WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RANKED THIRD IN NATIONAL PRESEASON POLL

The Puma Women's Cross Country team is ranked in the top five for the second season in a row in the USTFCCCA 2025 NJCAA DII Cross Country National Coaches' Preseason Poll. 

The Puma's are ranked third, just behind in-state rival Mesa Community College and Wallace State-Hanceville Community College (AL). The Pumas have two returners from last year's NJCAA DII National Championship second-place team, led by seventh-place finisher Laynee Hollech
 
The Pumas kick off the 2025 season on September 13 at the Cougar Challenge at Cal State University - San Marcos Riverside in San Marcos, CA. The Pumas are led by head coach David Barney, who is in his 30th year at the helm of Puma Cross Country.
