The 2025 PVCC Cross Country teams excelled both on the course and in the classroom during 2025 season and have been recognized Nationally for their hard work academically by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association USTFCCCA).

The Men's Cross Country team was named the 2025 NJCAA Division II National Scholar Team of the Year. The Pumas maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.63 during a season in which they finished third at the 2025 NJCAA DII Cross Country Championships in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Arianna Mason was named the 2025 NJCAA Division II Women's Cross Country Scholar Athlete of the Year. Mason maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.60 during a season in which she won the individual title at the NJCAA DII Cross Country Championships in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
